WYOMING SERVICE DOGS helps Individuals find more independence through partnership with a Service Dog!

Wyoming Service Dogs is a non-profit organization that helps people with mobility, psychological, hearing, or medical issues gain more independence and quality of life by partnering with a service/assistance dog that is looking for a home, a person to care for, and a job to do.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of persons living with disabilities through provision of trained service dogs who may have been abandoned or unwanted dogs prior to their service.

The dogs are initially trained to perform 53 common tasks needed for service work. They are then trained in the individual skills needed by their human partners.

We search for abandoned or rescued dogs that demonstrate the aptitude and temperament needed for service dog work.

Our trainers are certified in the most recent science that promotes positive and reward based training.
